Exploring the Art of Islamic Civilizations

Next workshop: May 22 at the Muslim Community Center, Silver Spring

Students will explore Samaria (Iraq, Northwest of the Euphrates & Tigris Rivers), while processing raw wool fiber and creating a wall hanging out of it. Please note: the wool allergy notification for this workshop. Also, students should wear old clothes and/or an apron, as dyed wool may stain. As this is an outdoor workshop, in the event of rain, a new date will be scheduled.
